Season Opening Run

This is the season opener run, and this year we are doing the Gooderham Trail. *This run is open to club members and non-club members.*
We will do an initial meet-up at the Tim Hortons at Harmony Road North (sharing the lot with Wendy's) between 08:00 and 08:30, leaving for the second meet-up site - the Tim Horton's in Bobcaygeon. Arriving at Bobcaygeon around 09:45, we will head to the trail at 10:00.
Gooderham trail is named after the town this trail leads to and is an excellent beginner to intermediate level trail. Hard-packed surfaces with some climbing and controlled descents allow drivers to hone in on skills while enjoying some great scenery as they pass by many lakes, marshes, streams, and rivers.
This trail crosses a few roads and other short trails, which makes it easy to exit off if the day gets long. Moose, beavers, and deer are all some of the wildlife you might be able to see while on the trail.
This is stock-friendly for most 4x4 vehicles, including full-sized trucks. We strongly recommend you have recovery points on the front and rear of your vehicle. A FRS or GMRS radio is also a good item to have.
Bring lunch and drinks for on the trail (non-alocholic please!), and we will stop for dinner and a recap of the day at the end, with the location TBD by attendees.
